PARSIPPANY, NJ — HNTB Corporation announces Mahesh Patel, PE, PMP, CPM, has joined the firm as a Senior Project Manager and Associate Vice President in its Princeton, New Jersey, office. Patel brings more than 35 years of experience in managing complex highway and bridge projects and will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of major projects for the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT).

“Mahesh has deep expertise in the transportation sector, having successfully delivered some of the most challenging and innovative projects in the region,” said Stephen Dilts, HNTB’s New Jersey Office Leader and Senior Vice President. “We are very pleased to have him join our team and help us create long-lasting solutions for our clients.”

Patel previously worked for NJDOT for more than 30 years, most recently as a Project Manager overseeing complex capital projects, including the replacement of the Route 72 Causeway over the Manahawkin Bay, the replacement of the Route 7 Wittpenn Bridge over the Hackensack River, the Route 35 reconstruction project, as well as 11 miles of pavement repair and rubblization along I-295.

Patel holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College in India. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional and Certified Public Manager.
