With over two decades of experience, Patel has been instrumental in the planning and design of various structures for significant infrastructure projects. His portfolio includes work on ports, dams, spillways, levees, flood control structures, wharves, ferries, and water & wastewater facilities. Additionally, he has contributed to the structural design of hotels, parking garages, commercial buildings, residential complexes, and municipal structures.
Since joining LAN in 2014, Patel has actively participated in SEAoT. His roles have evolved over the years: Treasurer in 2022, Secretary & SEAoT State Board Member in 2023, and Vice President in 2024.
According to Jennifer Martin Logan, President of SEAoT, Patel's career path and commitment make him an ideal fit for his new role.

Being a Houstonian dedicated to advancing the structural engineering field, Patel said that this appointment solidifies his role in the industry.
